He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Adkins and Virginia Adkins; his wife Delores Meadows Adkins; and his son Timothy Holmes. He is survived by: his sister Lynette; his sons, Nathan and Andrew; his daughters-in-law, Virginia and Bridgette; his grandsons, Brandon, Landon and Paul; his niece Lindsey; and his nephew Ryan.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service (206 Trindale Rd, Archdale, NC 27263).
