He was predeceased by: his parents, James Daniel Sutton and Mavis Clara Bloomer Sutton; and his siblings, Kenneth Wayne Sutton, Margaret Sutton Holder and Ruth Sutton Idol.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Coddington; his daughter Ann Fitzgerald (Chris) of Trinity; his grandson Ayden Fitzgerald; his brother-in-law Lane Idol; and his nephew Joel Lane Idol, Jr..
