He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Marvin and Veola Hill; his wife Betty Hill; his brother Jesse Hill (Barbara Hill); and his brother-in-law Howard Gammons Jr..
He is survived by: his children, Duane Hill of Thomasville, Melissa Xavier (Brian) of Idaho, Kevin Hill of Trinity and Steven Hill (Teresa) of Trinity; his grandchildren, Ryan, Tyler, Derrick, Caleb, Annie, Anna, Adam, Alston and Andrew; his great grandchildren, Victoria and Braxton; and his siblings-in-law, Phyllis G. Stanley of Thomasville, Mary Ann Gammons of Thomasville, Wayne Gammons (Karen) of Denton and Bobby Gammons (Pat Meredith) of Thomasville. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Sechrest-Davis Funeral Home (18 Randolph St, Thomasville, NC 27360). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
