She was predeceased by: her mother Gladys Sidden Warren; her husband James Roosevelt Barker; and her daughter Janet Barker Honeycutt. She is survived by: her son Steve Barker (Ginger) of Mt. Pleasant, NC; her granddaughters, Amber Sweeney (Brock) of Dobson and Amanda Crumby (Mike) of Kernersville; and her great grandchildren, Logan Sweeney, Kaylee Sweeney, James Crumby and Joshua Crumby.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of Stanly County – Albemarle, 960 North First St., Albemarle, NC 28001.
