Edward Matney Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 27, 2020, at the age of 93, Edward Matney of Trinity, North Carolina, born in Buchanan, Virginia passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Edward Matney to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Ellen Matney; his parents, George W. Matney and Vernie Vandike Matney; and his siblings, Hazel Looney, Helen Bowman, Ira Matney, Junior Matney and Roger Matney.
He is survived by: his siblings, Ann Matney of Asheboro, Thelma Ratliff of Ramseur, Beulah Hess (Sam) of Bristol, VA and Buford Matney (Linda) of Cedar Falls. He is also survived by six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
