He was predeceased by: his parents, Leland D. Spitzbergen and Frida Vanduinen Spitzbergen. He is survived by: his wife Pamela Potts Spitzbergen; his children, Marty Spitzbergen (Victoria) of Kentucky and Emily Spitzbergen of Greensboro; his stepson Chris Honeycutt (Taylor) of Thomasville; his sister Marcia Reynolds (Rick) of Florida; and his grandchildren, John, Hank, Wade, Kenny and Ryan.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
