He was predeceased by: his father Jerry Ray Hill; his brother Darrell Hill; and his stepgrandchild Ashley. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Griffin Hill; his stepdaughter Dawn Pearson (Tim) of Lexington; his siblings, Donnie Hill (Donna) of High Point and Darlene Lamb (Bobby) of Trinity; his stepgrandson Eric Tessner; and his pets, Napoleon and Daisey Mae. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren; three nieces and two nephews.
