We are sad to announce that on September 12, 2024, at the age of 83, Cyrus Henry Dockery of Trinity, North Carolina, born in Murphy, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Cora Lee Dockery; his sisters, Mae Belle Peek, Nora Ann Dockery and Frances Dockery; and his son-in-law Tom Gaddy.
He is survived by: his wife Golda Massengill Dockery of Trinity; his children, Neta Faye Dockery (Tom) of Thomasville, Johnny Leon Dockery of Virginia Beach, Karen D. Bass (Mike) of Four Oaks and Cyrus Gregory Dockery (Paula) of Thomasville; his grandchildren, Neta Mitchell, Ronnie Hale, John Robert Dockery, Ryan Beasley, Carma Crossman, Niki Boles, Krissy Nuttall, Morgan Bass and Sarah Bass; and his sister Mary Evelyn Reagan (Herbert) of Gatlinburg, TN.. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren.
