He was predeceased by: his parent Floyd Allen; and his wife Janet Rogers Allen. He is survived by: his parent Edna Smith Allen; his children, Cathy Boggs (John) of Cary, Rickey Allen (Kathy) of Trinity, Lee Allen, Kilkenny Cox of High Point and Christy Cox (Michael) of Trinity; his grandchild John Boggs, II; his wife Patti; his sisters, Peggy Barrow and Betty Lou Braddock; and also, Catherine Boggs, Christin Cox, Kali Cox, Courtney Allen and Ashton Allen.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Hospice of the Piedmont, 1801 Westchester Dr., High Point, NC 27262.
