It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Gilbert Brown of Trinity, North Carolina, who passed away on October 19, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Brown and Mittie Koontz Brown; his wife Mary; and his son Charles Gilbert Brown, Jr.. He is survived by: his children, Jerry Lee Brown (Debbie) of Sanford, Pamela Simmons of Archdale, Joy Hedgecock (Dan) of Trinity and Felicia Major (David) of Archdale; his grandchildren, Jerome Davis Tracy Brown (Tiffany), Misty Slack (Adam), Jason Brown (Kacie), Danyelle Walters (Jeremy), Dakota Hedgecock (Lizzy) and Matthew Major (Sarah); his stepgranddaughter Holly Hancock; and his great grandchildren, Lauren Richardson, Landon Slack, Hayden Walters, Houston Hughes, Brody Brown, Carlie Walters, Weston Slack, Sloane Brown, Tristan Hedgecock and Haisleigh Major. He is also survived by Daddy and Granddaddy and when he spoke of his children and grandchildren.
