She was predeceased by: her parents, Troy P. Harris and Anna White Harris; her sons, George Earl Price, Jr. and Tony Harris Price; and her siblings, Libby Wyatt and Bob Harris.
She is survived by: her husband Rex Ivey Thompson; her children, Teresa Thompson Carter of High Point, Angela Thompson Vaden of High Point, Richard "Ricky" Price of Asheboro and Rusty Thompson (Melissa) of Kennesaw, Georgia; and her brother Charles "Chuck" Harris of Indian Trail. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
