She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Teal and Pearl Brock Teal; her husband Thomas Ray Deese; and her sons, Timothy Deese and Tommy Deese.
She is survived by: her daughters, Susan Juel (Danny) of Little River and Tammy White (Don) of Trinity; and her brother Dennis Teal (Bonnie) of High Point. She is also survived by six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
