She was predeceased by: her parents, Elbert Jacobs and Nellie Long Jacobs; her husband Horace Edward Grainger, Sr.; and her siblings, Eddie L. Jacobs, Harold Jacobs and Linda Gray Jacobs.
She is survived by: her children, Ricky Dale Grainger (Connie) of Denton, Horace "Eddie" Grainger, Jr. (Susan) of Lexington and Melinda Hill (John) of Trinity; her siblings, Glenn Jacobs (Mary) of High Point, Willie Jacobs of Thomasville, Joe Ray Jacobs (Inga) of Bluefield, WV, Stevie Jacobs (Tammy) of Nakina, NC, Timmy Jacobs (Susan) of Nakina, NC, Wade Jacobs of Thomasville, Betty Long of Nakina, NC, Shirley Ward of Nakina, NC and Nell McKeithan of Nakina, NC; her grandchildren, Christy Beeson (Allen) of Trinity, Amanda Hamilton (William) of Lexington and Stephanie Cash (West) of Butte, MT; and her great grandchildren, Alissa Strand (Evan) of Charlotte, Ivory Beeson of Trinity, Dallas Mantz of Lexington, Jaelynn Boyles of Welcome and Raylan Boyles of Welcome. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the J. C. Green & Sons Funeral Home (122 W Main St, Thomasville, NC 27360). A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Holly Hill Memorial Park Cemetery (401 W Holly Hill Rd, Thomasville, NC 27360).
