She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Moore and Leta Stewart Moore; her husband Wilbur Ray Sykes; her son Joseph Lloyd Sykes; and her great grandchild Ian Ray Sykes.
She is survived by: her children, Steven Sykes (Mei) of Florida, David Sykes (Mina) of New York, Becky Thompson (Mark) of Snow Camp and Sarah McCarthy of Trinity; her grandchildren, Ken, Matt, Dylan, Tori, Carrie, Justin, Noah and Reina; her great grandchildren, Kennedy, Caleb, Cierra, Imogen and Ingrid; and her great great grandchild Peyton.
