With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Jean Gorecki Polivka in Trinity, North Carolina, who passed away on December 14, 2024 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Gorecki and Mildred Nemechek Gorecki; her husband Rudolph J. Polivka; and her siblings, Joseph Gorecki and Dolores Wiker.
She is survived by: her sons, Alan Polivka (Jane) and Mark Polivka (Chris); her grandchildren, Matthew Polivka (Beth Ann) and Kristen Greene (Jack); and her great grandchildren, Laura Polivka, Rudy Polivka and Ryan Greene.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the local American Red Cross serving the Piedmont Triad in NC in honor of Betty at PO Box 14710 in Greensboro, NC 27415.
