It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Ray of Trinity, North Carolina, born in High Point, North Carolina, who passed away on May 9, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Dunigan and Annie McCarter Dunigan; her husband Donald Lee Ray; and her siblings, Beulah Mae Stanley, Evelyn Cashatt, Viola Yates (Sis), Thomas Dunigan (Bud) and Lona Vestal.
She is survived by: her children, Donna Ray and Dewayne Ray (Juanita Shew Ray) of Trinity; her grandson Jacob Thomas Ray; her sister Geraldine Bingham of High Point; and her siblings-in-law, Marion Dunigan of High Point and Claude Yates. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
