It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Ann (Hawn) Lewis in Trinity, North Carolina, born in Catawba, North Carolina, who passed away on January 27, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Lafayette and Annie Bell Sears Hawn; her husband Vernon Lewis; her son Steven Lewis; and her siblings, Betty Beard, Annie Hawn, Henrietta Cline, Martha Hallman, Claude Hawn, Samuel Hawn, Joe Hawn and Jack Hawn.

She is survived by: her daughter Betsy Huffman (Sean) of Hickory; her grandchildren, Alec Hudler of Hickory, Nicholas Hudler of Hickory and Anissa Wood (Scott) of Hickory; her great grandchild Hannah Wood of Hickory; her brother-in-law Beryl Beard of Hickory; and her pet Shaggy.
