She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy William Gantt and Ottie Bell York; her siblings, Ronnie Joel, Ruth Carol, Donna, Bernice and Ralph; and her son William Franklin Meacham, Jr..
She is survived by: her husband Bill Meacham; and her sons, David Lawrence Meacham (Miyoung) of Richmond, VA and Charles Howard Meacham (Sandy) of Salisbury. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
