It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Addie Carrow Thomas Whitley in Trinity, North Carolina, who passed away on April 7, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Phillip Norval Thomas and Irene Neal Thomas; her former husband James W. Whitley, Sr.; and her siblings, Phil Thomas Jr., Maxie Jordan, Cindy Woodward and Frances Dickens.
She is survived by: her husband Jack Whitley; her children, Phyllis W. Williams of Beaufort, Jack Whitley Jr. (Lyn) of Wilmington and Neal Whitley (Caroline) of Raleigh; her grandchildren, Gray Williams (Sarah), Serena Mullins (Ricky), Mason Spittler (Eric), McRae Otto (Luke) and Colbourne Whitley; and her great grandchildren, Bradley, Jackson Williams and Goldie Mullins. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and special cousins.
