He was predeceased by: his daughter Tammy Cortez; and his sister Connie Brown. He is survived by: his wife Sandy; his children, Virgil Jarman, Jr. (Samantha) of Richland, MS, Debra Taggert (Ryan) of Richland, MS, Sally Foster (Jimmy) of Richland, MS, Phillip Jarman (Rebecca) of Richlands, NC, Jeremy Howard (Crystal) of Kinston, NC, Mary Creekmore (Rusty) of Louisburg, NC and Jimbo Westbrooks of Brandon, MS; his granddaughter Faith Howard of Trenton, NC; his siblings, Debbie Tyndall, Kathy Murphy, Fran Wilkins, Gayle Swinson, Carol Jarman, Paul Jarman and Dennis Jarman; his nephew Michael Paul Jarman; and his pet Hansel. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren.
