She is survived by: her close friend Randolph Brown of Trenton, NC; her children, Chiquita Carroll of Maysville, NC and Sonufa May of New Bern, NC; and her brothers, William May of Charlotte, NC and Kenneth May of Trenton, NC.. She is also survived by grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
