He is survived by: his children, Lisa Metts Davis (Dennis Ray) of Pink Hill, Andrew W. Metts (Janet) of New Bern, Joel Keith Metts (Geneva) of Trenton and Walter Dennis Metts; his grandchildren, Kasey Metts Mills (Jacob), Joshua Keith Metts, Gena Metts Torrence (Ricky), Gregory John Metts, Joel Nathan Metts (Kelsey), Denise Metts Powell (Mark), Heather Metts Pitts (Benjamin) and Alyssa Rae Davis; his great grandchildren, Emma, Ava Mills, Alexis, Brady, Caden Metts, Cooper, Carter Torrence, Brookelynn Metts, Matthew, Mason Powell and Briley Pitts; and his nephews, Donald Metts (Shirley), Danny Marshburn, Jr and Billy Marshburn (Lindsey).
