He is survived by: his wife Joyce Dean Nichols Brown; his children, William "Billy" Seal (Teresa), George Paul Brown, Debby Gates (Allen) of Vanceboro and Mellissa "Missy" Hollar (Gary) of New Bern; and his siblings, Jamie Edward Brown of New Bern and Sandy Crow of New Bern. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
