He was predeceased by: his parents, Sherwood Belcher Norris and Laura Shute Norris; and his siblings, Sherwood Norris, Billy Norris, George Norris, Bobby Norris, Harvey Norris, Shirley Straker and Sarah Cahoon.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Boyette Norris; his children, Edward Lee "Ted" Norris, Jr. (Heather) of Jacksonville and Pamela Norris Acord (Jason) of Hampstead; his siblings, Mary Elizabeth Toler of New Bern and Donald Norris (Ella) of Alliance; his grandchildren, Meagan Williams (Tyler), Logan Hancock, Chloe Norris, Reagan Acord and Elizabeth Acord; and his great grandchild Lucas Williams.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the church in his name.
