He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Leon Lassiter Henderson and Melissa Dawson Henderson; his wives, Dorothea J. Henderson and Betty J. Henderson; his children, Philip Henderson, Chris Henderson (Sherry) of Pollocksville, NC, Eric D. Henderson (Laura) of Trinity, NC and Melissa H. Taylor of Raleigh, NC; his stepson Steve Wallace (Aaron) of Vanceboro, NC.; and his grandchildren, Ethan, Logan Henderson, Philip, Sydney Henderson, Brian and Elaine Taylor.
