She was predeceased by: her husband Carroll Lee Potter; and her parents, Horace E. Mixon and Sudie MacLeod Mixon of Wilson, NC.. She is survived by: her daughters, Janet Potter Carr of Raleigh, NC, Sharon Potter Lewis (John Lewis, III) of Raleigh and Andrea C. Potter of Trent Woods; her grandchildren, Garrett Pair of Raleigh, Caroline Lewis and John Lewis, IV of Raleigh; her brother Charles Mixon (Helen) of Elm City, NC; and her brother-in-law Ralph Potter (Ruth) of Cove City, NC. She is also survived by her nephews, nieces and their children.
