Louis William Lis Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 24, 2019, Louis William Lis (Trent Woods, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Katherine M. Lis; and his parents-in-law, Wayne E. Koonce and Estelle Koonce. He is survived by: his wife Carol Koonce Lis; his daughters, Toni L. Adams (David) of New Bern, Angela L. Beasley (J. P.) and Lou Ann L. Fisher (Ricky) of Edenton; and his brothers-in-law, Dannie L. "Bo" Koonce of Ernul and Harvey L. "Buddy" Koonce (Mary) of Southern Pines. He is also survived by five grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and his fur buddy, "Sparky." Funeral service, with military honors, will be 3 p. m. Friday, February 1st at the Lakeside Chapel at Greenleaf Memorial Park with his son-in-law.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Lou's name to Crystal Coast Hospice House or to the American Cancer Society.
