James Arthur Watson Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, Levi Watson and Cornelia Watson; his wife Barbara Jean Watson; his son Gary James Watson; his brothers, Charles Watson and Robert Watson; his granddaughter-in-law Jamie Lynn Cooper Hancock; and his grandmother Barbara.

He is survived by: his children, Kathy Hancock and Carl Watson (Jamie Gurganus Watson); his grandchildren, George Hancock Jr. (Viwan), James David Hancock, Sarah Hancock (Chris), Erin Alsbrook (Jordan), Ashley Ingle (Tyler) and Emily Watson; and his great grandchildren, Maggie, Kai, Tate, Kit, Kingsley and Leo Elaine. He is also survived by other loving family members and close friends.

In lieu of sending flowers the family suggests making a donation in his memory to Saint Mary's Free Will Baptist Church, New Bern or to the West of New Bern Fire Department.
