He was predeceased by: his parents, John Q. Branch and Sallie Denby Branch; and his siblings, Carl Douglas Branch (John W Branch), Mary Leigh Hawthorne, Laura Elizabeth Hodges, Betty Jean Branch Bass and Beatrice Gray Branch.
He is survived by: his wife Pat; his daughter Tracy Phillips (Chris); his grandson Justin Peed (Stephen); his sister Lois Branch Morgan of Farmville; and his close friends, Earl Coward, Annette Canady and Carol Ward. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
