She was predeceased by: her parents, James Cecil Hartley and Maggie Oleta Mixon Hartley; her husband Rev. Luther James Lupton; her son Charles L. Lupton; her grandchildren, Christy Williams and Brandon Lupton; her great grandchild Finnleigh Allen; and her siblings, Kenneth Howard Hartley and Geraldine Hartley.
She is survived by: her daughters, Joan L. Allen (George) of Pikeville and Judy L. Williams (Wayne) of Ayden; her daughter-in-law Starr Lupton of Goldsboro; her siblings, Dianne Martin of Ernul, James C. Hartley Jr. of Ernul, Charles Q. Hartley of Snow Camp and Terry P. Hartley of Fort Myers, FL; and her grandchildren, Scott Allen, April Wilson, Jeffrey Allen, Chris Williams, Stephen Williams and Melissa Gretten. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
