He is survived by: his daughter Christie Dee Joines McKinney of Traphill; his grandchildren, Kodi Thomas McKinney, Kayla DeeIna McKinney, Haley Brooke Joines Matthews (Danny "Ethan"), Thomas "Wesley" Joines and Thomas "Matthew" Joines; his great grandchild Sarah Ann McKinney; and his brother Bert Joines of Winston-Salem.
