He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen W. Byrd and Linda Grace Byrd. He is survived by: his wife Tina Byrd; his children, Melinda Dawn McKenzie (Patrick) and Joshua Allen Byrd (Kayla); and his grandchildren, Christian Triplett, Annabelle Settlemyer and Daniel Byrd.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home (270 Armory Rd, North Wilkesboro, NC 28659). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Reins-Sturdivant Chapel (270 Armory Rd, North Wilkesboro, NC 28659). A burial was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 at the Stoney Ridge Baptist Church (2087 N Lomax Rd, Traphill, NC 28685).
