He was predeceased by: his parents, Bobby Joe and Mary Jane Shore Gentry; and his brother Gary Lee Gentry. He is survived by: his sons, Tony Wayne Gentry of Dobson and Roger Lee Gentry (Shanda) of State Road; his siblings, Barry Gentry (Cindy) of State Road, Joey Gentry (April) of Elkin, Tammy Anderson (Junior) of Traphill and Sandra Galehouse (Bobby) of Elkin; his sister-in-law Kim Hudspeth (Steve) of State Road; and his grandchildren, Bryce Vestal, Briggs Gentry and Ethan Gentry.
