It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Herman Grant Lyons of Traphill, North Carolina, who passed away on February 11, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Ervin and Hallie Brown Lyon of Virginia; his wife Eliza Victoria Luffman Lyons; and his sister Laura Bevalee Lyon. He is survived by: his children, Chris Lyons (Linda Ledford) of Traphill and Jolene Lyons Johnson (Johnny) of Traphill; his brother Billy Lyons (Shelby) of Traphill; his grandchildren, Melanie Johnson-Wagoner (Jack) and Adam Johnson; his great grandchildren, Alex Wagoner, Folger Wagoner, Mason Wagoner, Grant Wagoner and Max Wagoner; and his close friend Wanda Anderson.
