It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Christine Matthews Kimmer of Traphill, North Carolina, who passed away on March 11, 2024, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Eddie Matthews and Joyce Nance Matthews; and her sisters, Delia Matthews and Peggy Matthews. She is survived by: her husband Donald D. Kimmer; her children, Janet Ray, Justin Kimmer (Cassie) and Elaina Kimmer; her grandchildren, Lauren Yates, Emma Ray, Peyton Ray, Brooklyn Hinshaw, Eli Hinshaw, Lincoln Hinshaw, Brantlee Kimmer, Brady Kimmer and Blakelee Kimmer; her great grandchildren, Vincent Yates and Areya Aguirre; and her siblings, Becky Messick (Steve), Donna Matthews, Kay Calhoun, Jerry Matthews, Dean Matthews (Ann), Wayne Matthews and Danny Matthews. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be given to Union Baptist Church, 2002 Traphill Union Rd, Traphill, NC 28685.
