He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Hardin and Fronnie Ethel Hudson Cockerham; his son Joey Andrew Cockerham; and his siblings, Rose Emma Kennedy, Betty Oxendine, Dennis Aaron Cockerham, Sam Cockerham and J. C. Cockerham.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Bowers Cockerham; his sons, Allen Frank Cockerham (Denise) of Yadkinville and Clint Edward Cockerham of Traphill; his grandchildren, Kade Andrew, Marley Jade and Ayden Corey Cockerham; his stepgranddaughter Peyton Marie Doby; his brother Robert Lee Cockerham of Yadkinville; and his daughter-in-law Shana Lenee Doby (Matthew) of State Road.
