Carolyn J. Osborne Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn J. Osborne of Traphill, North Carolina, who passed away on March 31, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elbert Wiles and Ruby Pruitt Wiles; her spouse Terry Lane Osborne; her son Michael Shane Osborne; and her siblings, Roger Wiles, Pauline Caudill and Margaret Wiles.
She is survived by: her daughter April Osborne Edwards of Wilkesboro; her grandchildren, Brendon Wiles of Boone, Lauren Edwards Byrd (Matthew) of North Wilkesboro and S. Collin Edwards of Millers Creek; her great grandchild Calvin Lane Byrd; her siblings, Jack Wiles of Traphill, Helen W. Blackburn of Georgia, Tathel Faircloth (Stanley) of Catawba, Shirley Wiles of North Wilkesboro and Danny Wiles (Vanessa) of Traphill; her close friend Gayle Cook; and her pet Chloe.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the New Covenant Baptist Church (207 Hawkins Hollow Rd, Hays, NC 28635). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
