He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Billings and Myrtle Pruitt Billings; his wife Linda Carol Cheek Billings; and his siblings, Arkie Crabb, Dorothy Holcomb, Hurley Billings, Elmer Billings and Everette "Buck" Billings.
He is survived by: his son Benjamin Billings (Kayla) of Traphill; his grandchildren, Shaylen Billings and Brayden Billings; and his sisters, Rheo McBride of Winston-Salem and Ella Byrd of Lexington.
