We bid farewell to Allen Shepherd of Traphill, North Carolina, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 2, 2025 at the age of 58. As we bid Allen farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Allen is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Shepherd and Ivacean Shepherd; and his brother Winfred Shepherd. He is survived by: his children, Cody Shepherd and Breanna Stidham (Andrew); his special little buddy Julia Mitchell; and his brother Delbert Shepherd. He is also survived by his family, friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wolfe and Sons Funeral Home (23185 US-421, Hyden, KY 41749).
