He was predeceased by: his parents, Alphonso Conrad Sidden and Martha Letitia Brown Sidden; and his siblings, Edwin, Edgar of Clyde, A. C, Junior, Clay Sidden and Mary McDaniel.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Irwin Sidden; his children, Wendy Hutchison of Traphill and Dwayne Sidden (Penny) of Traphill; his grandchildren, Letitia King (Chris) of Elkin, Ashton Gant (Marisa) of New Jersey, Annalise Gant of Greensboro, Karston Hutchison of Traphill, Christian Sidden of Traphill and Micah Sidden of Traphill; his great grandchildren, Casen and Regan King; his sisters, Martha Myers of Traphill and Maxine Whittington of North Wilkesboro; and his nephew Micah Sidden (Leanne).
