He is survived by: his wife Johnsie Myers Sidden; his daughters, Rita K. Sidden of Traphill and Robin S. Johnson (Alan) of Traphill; his grandchildren, Yvette Gooch, James W. Johnson, Brittany Wilmoth, Janette Amsden and Candice Forbes; his great grandchildren, Jason A. Gooch, Elijah A. Gooch, Natalee Johnson, Heather Watkins and Andy Watkins; and his siblings, Maxine Whittington of North Wilkesboro, Martha Myers of Traphill, Mary McDaniel of Traphill and Alan Sidden of Traphill.
