She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Dr. Reginald Owen and Phyllis "Joyce" Field Rabbitt; her husband Jerry Freudenthal; her sons, Chad Freudenthal (Chelsea) of Haines City and Ryan Freudenthal (Marie) of Bunker Hill; her sisters, Sheila Strunz (Harry) of Orlando and Brenda Rabbitt of St. Petersburg, Florida; and her grandchildren, Derrick, Leila, Karalynn, Alyssa, Abigail, David and Emma Freudenthal.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in memory of Rita Rabbitt Freudenthal be made to New Hope Church, 41 Eurasian Drive, Bunker Hill, West Virginia, 25413.
