He was predeceased by: his parents, Verles C. Wishon and Beulah Owenby Wishon; his wife Jo Ann Wishon; and his brothers, Wayne, Dean Owenby, Skip and Max Wishon.
He is survived by: his children, Kimberly Bateman (Brian) of Nantahala and Adam Wishon (Annie) of Franklin; his sisters, Carolyn Hodge (Phillip) of Andrews and Cathy Passmore (Kenneth) of Nantahala; and his grandchildren, Ethan, Eli, Cohen, Carrigan Wishon and Corey Bateman. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
