It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alomia R. Mashburn of Topton, North Carolina, who passed away on February 5, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rupurt McLain and Bernice Hyde McLain; and her daughter Stephanie Mashburn. She is survived by: her husband Steve Mashburn; her children, Lavetta Roper (Scott) of Robbinsville and Mike Mashburn (Kelley) of Knoxville, Tennessee; her siblings, Linda Thompson (Emmett) of Murphy and Larry McLain (Betty) of Topton; her grandchildren, Kayla Spencer (Jeremy), Lindsey Burke (Lance), Jerri Anna Roper, Hunter Mashburn, Morgan Mashburn, Evan Mashburn, Dakoda Silvers and Brady Jenkins; and her great grandchildren, Kynadee, Kambell, Jess Spencer, Loxley and Lennox Burke. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
