She is survived by: her husband Curtis Thomson; her children, William W. Thomson of Iowa City and Emma Christine Thomson of Topsail Beach; her grandson Thomas Logan Willoughby; her siblings, Lilly W. Norman, Hubert M., Wilson C. Whitaker and Nina W. Beavans; and her son John Curtis.
