He was predeceased by: his parents, Darrell Bledsoe and Joyce Rash Bledsoe; and his brothers, Kenneth "Mark", Darrell "Mole" and Robin "Rob" Bledsoe.
He is survived by: his children, Megan Bledsoe of West Jefferson, Amanda "Mandy" Calhoun of Lansing and Matthew Bledsoe; his sister Terry Bledsoe of Wilkesboro; and his grandchild Cohen Bledsoe. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
