It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Paul Jernigan of Todd, North Carolina, born in Charlotte, North Carolina, who passed away on February 6, 2024, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Paul Jernigan, Sr. and Leila Marie Jernigan; and his sister Bonnie Juanita Jernigan. He is survived by: his wife Celeste Carson Jernigan of Todd; his niece Sally Jernigan-Smith of Durham; his nephews, Timothy Jernigan-Smith of Charlemont and Nicholas Jernigan of Ashland, Oregon; and his brothers-in-law, Samuel Bradford Smith of Brookline and Walter Kit Carson of Charlotte.
