He was predeceased by: his parents, James Ottis Lail and Ardna Agnus Howell Lail; and his siblings, James Lail and Sarah Greene. He is survived by: his daughter Lydia Lail; his granddaughter Casandra Lail of Yadkinville; his sister Linda Spillane of Todd; and his nephew Richie Hardin of Georgia.
