He was predeceased by: his father Gary Irvin Potter; his stepfather Ronnie Evans; and his grandparents, Harvey Canter, John Denver Potter and Elizabeth Stanley.
He is survived by: his mother Dovie Canter Evans of Todd; his daughters, Peyton Lynn, Sara Rose and Kaylee Grace Potter; his stepson Joshua Christopher McTosh; the mother of his children Rosalee; his sister Jeanette Johnson (Johnathan Phillips) of West Jefferson; his stepsister Cassie Trivette of Todd; his grandmother Caroline Canter of Todd; his stepmother Beth Potter of Todd; and his mother-in-law Ruby Lipford of Todd. He is also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins.
