He is survived by: his wife Iva Dean Proffit; his son Eric Proffit (Kelly); his grandchildren, Gracie Silvers (Dakota), Lily Proffit, Logan and Ellie Jane Harral; and his siblings-in-law, Janie Beach (Tim) and Toney Kincaid (Cathy).
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to the donors own church in the form of tithes.
